Pre Procedure Policy

All permanent cosmetic procedures are multi-session processes. It is necessary to come back for at least one focus visit (included in cost) before it can be determined that your work is complete. Focus visits are scheduled within 8-12 weeks following the initial procedure, or charges will apply.  A future Touch Up visit is 1-2 years from the initial procedure.

The color intensity of your procedure will be significantly sharper, brighter, or darker than what is expected for the final outcome. It will take time for this transition based upon how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates. While these tattooed colors may initially simulate the exact color and tone desired, they will not always remain a perfect match, as your own skin color will vary depending on exposure to cold, heat, sun and circulatory changes.

Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly or redden, some clients feel it best not to make any social plans for a day or two following any procedure. It is always best to avoid these procedures within months prior to important life events such as weddings. Procedures may take longer than expected to be complete under some circumstances. Also, there is generally a lower pain tolerance during a procedure scheduled on or near menstruation.

Any tweezing or waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to the eyebrow procedure; electrolysis no less than 5 days before. To avoid infection, do not resume any method of hair removal for at least 2 weeks.

Botox should be spaced 3 weeks before/after your appointment. Retinol use should be discontinued 30 days before/after your procedure. Chemical peels should be spaced 60 days before/after your procedure.

Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-tattooed condition. Following the eyeliner procedure, as a safety precaution, it is recommended that you have someone available to accompany you or drive you home. Eyelash tinting or perming should not be done within 48 hours prior to or 2 weeks after the procedure. Do not use Latisse for 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after the eyeliner procedure. Medication for Dry Eye Syndrome (i.e. Restasis) reduces pigment retention.

For lip procedures, it is necessary to take an anti-viral medication such as Valtrax, if you have EVER had a cold sore, shingles, or chicken pox. It is recommended to take the medication 1 day prior to and continue for 7 days after the procedure.

Refrain from the use of alcohol, aspirin, aspirin-containing medications, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications for 7 days before and 2 days after any procedure. Refrain from judgment-altering drugs for at least 24 hours prior to any procedure. It is recommended that you space surgical procedures at least 3 months apart from permanent cosmetic procedures. No medication should ever be discontinued without first consulting your physician.

Permanent cosmetics are not recommended for those who tend to keloid.

No procedure is performed if you are pregnant or nursing.

Please, bring your face mask to all appointments. You will be asked to wash your hands and temperature will be taken upon arrival.

A skin test is offered upon request.
